Get Down With Cambridge’s Annual Dance Party on Friday

Posted on

If you find yourself already in the dog days of summer (but you shouldn’t, it’s only just started) then you know that there really is nothing worse than sitting in a hot house or a hot back yard and sweat with nothing to do. What if I told you that you could stand on a hot street and sweat? No, oh well did I mention that you’ll also be dancing your heart out? AND did I mention it’s free? And in Cambridge?

Things just keep getting better! But yes, this Friday the 24th you can head to city hall at about 7 p.m. and boogie with a reported 5,000 other RSVPers. There will be a DJ to make sure the dancing mood is right, and the chunk of Mass Ave between Prospect and Bigelow Streets will be blocked off to provide a safe and ample space for marry partygoers!
