Boston and New York, two of the oldest and greatest cities in the US, have long been known for the price tags they accrue. If you want to live in luxury in either place, you’ve got to be willing to spend a decent amount of money, and have a decent amount to enjoy their vibrant nightlifes! In the last few years, there has been a trend towards higher and higher prices, and although New York has become more expensive, due to the high volume of demand that 11 million people have, but Boston has followed close behind.
The Metro ran an interesting article this morning that analyzed the difference in quality you get for the same amount of rent in both Boston and New York. The results are very interesting, and show that although rents have been increasing across the board, there are still definitely affordable places for rent, if you know where to look.
